Welcome to Voluntariado Jesus Con Los Niņos!
 
"Jesus con los Niņos" Voluntary Organization is a non-for-profit private organization that was founded 10 years ago by a group fo women in Santiago, Dominican Republic, with the purpose of unifying efforts to help Dr. Arturo Grullon Children's Hospital.
 
The vision has come to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic with the desire to make ourselves useful and dedicate our time with great satisfaction to the children's lives we can touch.
 
We want to encourage you to begin the journey to service, a journey that only the chosen ones can make because giving is beautiful but serving is wonderful.
 
We all need each other.  Some people need more help from others, and if life made us strong and put us in a privileged place we must ask ourselves:  "What can I do to help my neighbour?"
 
We are about each other. The conquest, victories and fulfilment of the Pediatric Area of Ricardo Limardo Hospital in Dominican Republic will not only be a result of our effort, but of ourwhole city, Puerto Plata, that will take part in the achievement of this goal.

Our Vision is to unify efforts with the commitment of a constant work to make our help programs an example of functionality and humanized service with the best standards of medical attention.  To obtain economic support to endorse different help programs and to keep our members together to serve those in need.

  • To spread the volunteer service organization experience "Jesus Con Los Niņos"
  • To maintain bonds of service with the patients in order to keep track of their progress.
  • To form a citizens group interested in making changes that impact the Pubic Health Service in Puterto Plata, Dominican Republic.
  • To create a net to dessiminate help programs, prevention programs and health eduation programs.
  • To establish an association with leaders that share our mission, vision and values to accomplish these goals.
  • To set the name of the Volunteer Organization as a help foundation with a great social, moral, human and spiritual commitment.
  • To strengthen bonds with international organizations to optimize our capacity to help others.

Mission
 
Our mission is to serve ill children and their families trying to ease the physical, emotional and economic impact of a disease.
 
We are dedicated to coordinate activities to raise national and international funds to support our help programs.
 
We support this institution we work for, respecting its regulations and acting in accordance with our faithful conviction.
 
The need for greater humanization of the health service for a better quality of life.
